The management of Roles / Permissions In Jewely HBJO, you can precisely control what each employee can see and do within the jewelry ERP. A role is a set of access rights assigned to one or more employees.

Predefined roles

Jewely HBJO offers predefined roles adapted to the jewelry industry:

  • Super Admin : full access to all features and all points of sale
  • Administrator : access to point-of-sale management, reports, and configurations
  • Seller Access to sales, quotes, customers and cash register only
  • An accountant : access to accounting data, exports and statistics

Create a custom role

  1. Access My Account > Roles / Permissions
  2. Click on + Create a role
  3. Give the role a name (e.g., "Stock Manager")
  4. Select the accessible modules: Sales, Stock, After-Sales Service, Customers, Accounting, etc.
  5. For each module, define the permissions: Read, Create, Modify, Delete
  6. Click on Record the role

Modify the permissions of an existing role

  1. In the list of roles, click on the role you want to edit.
  2. Adjust permissions module by module
  3. Save the changes

⚠️ Role changes apply immediately to all employees who have that role.

Best practices

  • Apply the principle of least privilege: grant only the necessary access.
  • Create specific roles for collaborators rather than using the Super Admin role.
  • Review permissions regularly, especially after organizational changes.
