How to change prices in bulk via CSV import
The function of multiple price modification Jewely allows you to update the prices including tax of several items simultaneously by importing a CSV file, without having to modify each product sheet individually.
1. Prepare the CSV file
Create a CSV file with at least the following columns:
- Reference or label : identifier for each item.
- New price including VAT : the selling price to be applied.
Other columns can be included (brand, supplier…) — Jewely will ignore them if they are not mapped.
2. Access the price modification
In Stock > Price change, click on Import a CSV file and select your file.
3. Map the columns
Jewely automatically detects the columns. Check the mapping (which column corresponds to the reference, the price, etc.) and adjust if necessary.
4. Configure the options
- Restrict to in-stock items : Check this option to apply the update only to items currently in stock.
- Ignore reserved labels : avoids changing the price of items already reserved for a customer.
- Price increase date : Set a future date if you want the new prices to apply at a later date.
5. Validate and apply
Check the preview of the changes, then click on Apply. Prices are updated instantly (or on the specified date). The price update history can be viewed at any time.
