How to consult and use the Police Register in Jewely Retail

The Police Book is a legally required register for jewelers. It records all entries and exits of precious objects.

Access to the Police Register

1. Click on the icon notebook in the navigation bar or access Police Book.

Automatic feeding

The Police Log is powered automatically by Jewely Retail during:

• Each entry of valuable items into inventory
• Each sale of precious objects
• Each buyback or consignment sale

View entries

1. Use the filters to search by supplier, seller, date or reference.
2. Each line displays: entry date, exit date, label, reference, description, purchase price, material, supplier.

Export the Police Log

1. Click the button Export top right.
2. The file is downloaded in Excel/CSV format for presentation to the authorities if necessary.

Legal obligation

In France, the Police Register must be kept for 5 years from the date of the last registration. Jewely Retail ensures the traceability and archiving of all your transactions.
