How to manage product reservations

The function of reservation Jewely allows you to set aside an item for a customer while they wait for their purchase decision, while keeping it visible in stock.

1. Create a reservation

In Stock > Reservations, click on New reservation. Search for the item to reserve by reference, label, or by scanning its barcode. Select the relevant customer.

2. Set an end date (optional)

You can define a reservation end date. After this period, the item will be available for sale again. If no date is set, the reservation remains active indefinitely.

3. Track current reservations

The list of active reservations is accessible from Stock > Reservations. Use the filters (brand, customer, period, etc.) to quickly find a reservation. The status of each reserved item is clearly indicated.

4. Convert to sale

When the customer confirms their purchase, select the reservation option and initiate the sales process directly from the item's record. The item's status will automatically change from "reserved" to "sold".

5. Cancel a reservation

If the customer cancels, remove the reservation from the list. The item will immediately revert to its stock availability status.

Good to know: Reserved items are visible in the Statistics module (product availability) for complete logistical tracking.
