How to create a customer record and manage credit notes
Introduction
The customer file centralizes all customer information: contact details, purchase history, deposits, credit notes and ongoing after-sales service.
Create a customer profile
- From the dashboard, click on New Customer.
- Please provide your name, surname, telephone number and any additional information.
- Click on Save.
View customer history
From the customer file, you can access the purchase history, after-sales service, deposits and credit notes.
Manage a customer credit note
- Credits are created automatically upon return.
- To use a credit note during a sale, select the customer and click on Use the asset.
Refund a credit note
- Open the customer file, section Assets.
- Select the asset and click on Repay.
Good to know
- A customer can accumulate multiple assets.
- The customer record is automatically associated during a sale if the customer is identified.
