How to view and export the Police Register

THE Police Book This is the mandatory legal register for jewelers, watchmakers, and goldsmiths. Jewely automatically generates it from your transactions and allows you to view and export it at any time.

1. Access the Police Log

In the main menu, go to Stock > Police Book (or from the dedicated menu depending on your configuration). The register is displayed with all the recorded operations.

2. Register contents

Each line in the Police Log corresponds to an operation and indicates:

• There date of the operation.
• There nature of the operation (stock entry, sale, after-sales service, buyback, takeover…).
• There description of the property (nature, materials, brand, weight…).
• L'’supplier or customer identity concerned.
• THE price of the transaction.

3. Filter the inputs

Use the available filters to refine the display: by period, type of operation Or point of sale.

4. Export the registry

Click on Export To download the Police Register in the desired format (PDF or CSV). The export can be presented during an inspection by the authorities or archived according to legal retention requirements.

5. Automatically powered

The Police Register is automatically updated with each transaction recorded in Jewely: you don't need to enter any additional information. Every transaction is tracked in real time, guaranteeing an up-to-date and compliant register.

Legal reminder: The Police Register must be kept for 5 years and presented upon request by the police or gendarmerie authorities.
