How to create a customer record and manage credit notes

Introduction

The customer file centralizes all customer information: contact details, purchase history, deposits, credit notes and ongoing after-sales service.

Create a customer profile

  1. From the dashboard, click on New Customer.
  2. Please provide your name, surname, telephone number and any additional information.
  3. Click on Save.

View customer history

From the customer file, you can access the purchase history, after-sales service, deposits and credit notes.

Manage a customer credit note

  1. Credits are created automatically upon return.
  2. To use a credit note during a sale, select the customer and click on Use the asset.

Refund a credit note

  1. Open the customer file, section Assets.
  2. Select the asset and click on Repay.

Good to know

  • A customer can accumulate multiple assets.
  • The customer record is automatically associated during a sale if the customer is identified.
