How to register a consignment shop

THE consignment shop Jewely allows you to accept items belonging to third parties (clients, colleagues, etc.) and sell them on your behalf, paying the owner a share of the agreed-upon sale price. Jewely automates this entire process.

1. Access the Consignment Sales module

In Purchases > Consignment Shops, click on New consignment shop.

2. Identify the depositor

Select or create the depositor's customer record. Enter their full contact details — these will appear on the consignment contract.

3. Describe the submitted article

Enter the characteristics of the item: type, brand, materials, condition, and the desired selling price. Also define the conditions agreed upon with the depositor: commission, deposit period, etc.

4. Generate the consignment sale contract

Jewelly automatically generates a consignment sale agreement including all legal information and defined conditions. The contract can be printed for signature by both parties.

5. Stocking and selling

The item is added to Jewely's inventory with its tag. When it is sold, the sale is recorded normally. Jewely automatically calculates the share to be paid to the consignor.

6. Close the consignment shop

Upon sale or expiration of the consignment, close the file from the consignment sales list. Invoices and any credit notes will be generated automatically if necessary.
