How to register a deposit
How to record a customer deposit in Jewely Retail
A deposit is a partial payment made by a customer before the delivery of an item or the completion of an order.
Register a new deposit
- From the dashboard, click on NEW DEPOSIT.
- Select the relevant client.
- Enter the deposit amount.
- Choose the payment method.
- Add a description (e.g., "Custom ring - deposit 50%").
- Confirm to save the deposit.
Deducting the deposit during a sale
- When creating a new sale, after adding the items, the system will automatically offer to deduct the customer's existing deposits.
- Confirm the deduction and validate the sale.
