How to record a customer deposit in Jewely Retail

A deposit is a partial payment made by a customer before the delivery of an item or the completion of an order.

Register a new deposit

  1. From the dashboard, click on NEW DEPOSIT.
  2. Select the relevant client.
  3. Enter the deposit amount.
  4. Choose the payment method.
  5. Add a description (e.g., "Custom ring - deposit 50%").
  6. Confirm to save the deposit.

Deducting the deposit during a sale

  1. When creating a new sale, after adding the items, the system will automatically offer to deduct the customer's existing deposits.
  2. Confirm the deduction and validate the sale.
