How to manage marketing consents (GDPR)
Jewely includes a management module for marketing consents compliant with the GDPR, allowing for precise tracking of each customer's communication authorizations.
1. Accessing a customer's consent
Open the customer record from Customers > Customer file. In the section Marketing consents, You will find the different communication channels.
2. Available channels
Jewely manages consents for three channels:
- E-mail : permission to receive communications by email.
- Postal mail : authorization to receive physical documents.
- SMS / WhatsApp : permission to receive messages on mobile.
3. Modify a consent
For each channel, a switch indicates whether the client has given their consent (enabled) or not (disabled). Click the switch to change the state. Each change is automatically saved with:
- There date change.
- The name of the’operator having made the change.
4. Default opt-in principle
By default, all consents are disabled To comply with the opt-in principle, the customer must explicitly give their consent to be contacted on each channel.
5. Use for campaigns
During advanced customer search, you can filter by marketing consent to create GDPR-compliant mailing lists that can be exported for your communication tools.
